Littoral is an application developed by Kevin Fishburne. It can be used to control the elevation data of a 52x52 cell map, allow vertex coloring at and below sea level, and to automatically place up to 255 different objects on terrain in large quantities. These features make landscaping for large landmass projects significantly easier.

History[edit]

The program was developed in 2005 for Fishburne's Ultima 5 remake project for Morrowind. Although the project died very quickly, Fishburne released Littoral, which had been designed to help significantly speed up the landscaping for the project.
