Morrowind Modding Wiki was a site hosted by The Assimilation Lab dedicated to the collection of Morrowind modding knowledge, and to providing guides to new players who would like to start modding their game. The wiki was open to all who would like to contribute to their ever expanding modding knowledge.

Our mission is to:

1. Preserve - Since Morrowind was released, there have been (and continue to be) countless tutorials and guides produced to help players to mod their copy of Morrowind, and to help get new modders started on creating new mods. As forums are purged and websites go dark, we are losing these valuable resources if we don't do something about it.
2. Centralize - Many fansites and the official forums have lists of links to tutorials, guides, and resources. However, it's not easy finding a specific guide.
3. Expand - Even today there are still small nuggets of knowledge discovered within Morrowind that influence how we create mods. There's even some tutorials, guides, and resources that we just never written; the Beginners Guide is a good example.

The sooner we act, the more guides we can save from simply disappearing from the internet. The more centralized all of the guides are, the easier it is for beginners and veterans alike to learn more about their favorite game. As more is learned and produced, it can be added to this wiki.
