- Na-Totambu
- The kings of the ancient Yokudan people, now the Redguards.
- Nibenese
- The original Cyro-Nordic tribes.
- Night Mother
- Refers to the leader of the Dark Brotherhood (whether male or female).
- Nightblade
- Among the most feared classes, the Nightblade is the ultimate combination of a magic user
and a thief. Using their skills of stealth they can often launch devasting attacks unseen,
and slip away without notice. A successful Nightblade must be quick and agile as well as have
the required intelligence and willpower for spellcasting.
- Night of Tears
- The night an Elven force attacked and burned the first city of Skyrim, Saarthal, built by the first Nordic
inhabitants.
- Nightshade
- Nightshade is reputed to be a very poisonous herb. However the variety found in many
parts of Elsweyr is cherished by Khajiits who have followed the career path of thievery. Many Khajiits will tuck a piece
of Nightshade inside their armor to increase their abilities to skulk, hide and become invisible.

- Nine Divines
- The great faiths and gods of Tamriel which include Aedra Akatosh, Dibella, Arkay, Zenithar, Mara, Stendarr, Kynareth,
Julianos, and the Talos Cult.
- Nirn
- Name of the mortal plane created by the gods at the dawn of time.
- Nord
- The name given to those originating from the province of Skyrim. Due to the harsh and cold
conditions of their homeland, Nords are known to be extremely resistant to all forms of cold,
including magical attacks. They are typical thought of as proficient fighters. The typical
Nord is a tall and fair hair with pale skin. With the exception of the Redguards, all humans
of current day are descended from Nordic stock. Nords are gifted with wood and timber construction
which can be seen in some of the structures in Skyrim which survive from when the first settlers
arrived, over 3000 years ago.
- The citizens of Skyrim are a tall and fair-haired people, aggressive and fearless in war, industrious and
enterprising in trade and exploration. Skilled sailors, Nords can be found in seaports and settlements along all
the coasts and rivers of Tamriel. Strong, willful, and hardy, Nords are famous for their resistance to cold, even
magical frost. Violence is an accepted and comfortable aspect of Nord culture; they cheerfully face battle with
an ecstatic ferocity that shocks and appalls their enemies (MW Manual).
