Ancestral Tombs can be found scattered across Vvardenfell. There is a total of 73 tombs, out of which 14 have accessible interiors.

Locations of Interest

These are either involved in quests, marked on the map, or at least have explorable interiors. All of these tombs, with the exception of Salothan Ancestral Tomb, can be entered.

Ancestral Tombs of the Thirty Revered Families

Finding these 30 tombs is required for the Ancestral Tombs Hunter achievement. All of them are inaccessible, and have a stone marker with the name of the family in Daedric script and a crest of one of the Great Houses engraved on it.

Andas Ancestral Tomb is located in the Molag Amur region, east of Missir-Dadalit Egg Mine. Its stone marker bears the crest of House Telvanni.

Aran Ancestral Tomb

Venim Ancestral Tomb

Venim Ancestral Tomb is located in the Grazelands region, north of Zainab Camp. Its stone marker bears the crest of House Redoran. Two nix-hounds spawn and a chest can be found next to the tomb.

Verelnim Ancestral Tomb

Verelnim Ancestral Tomb is located in the Azura's Coast region, on an island east of Dreloth Ancestral Tomb. Its stone marker bears the crest of House Indoril.

Unmarked

A further 28 tombs are also inaccessible, but do not count towards the Ancestral Tomb Hunter achievement. They are not named in the game, and their names can only be inferred from TES III: Morrowind (with the exception of the Unnamed Ancestral Tomb). • The Hlaalu Ancestral Vaults, Redoran Ancestral Vaults, and Foreign Quarter Tomb are all found underneath their respective quarters in Vivec, which are still under construction at this time, and cannot be accessed.
• Heleran Ancestral Tomb is found in a basement in Caldera, which does not exist yet at this time.
