Soon after entering Fargrave you will find that the Waking Flame have been placing votive runes around the city. These have an agitating effect on mortals, such as Chantale.

As you approach the trio standing near a rune, you will hear Chantale cry out:

Chantale: "Why won't you all just leave me alone?"

Loth: "Something terrible is about to happen, I just know it!"

• Her appearance is randomized, with differing hairstyles and accessories.
• Once the quest is completed, Chantale will disappear from the city.
