Skills and Abilities[edit]
Unlike standard mournful aegises, the Eternal Aegis is formed of two fused together, meaning it's able to perform abilities on one side while doing other moves with the other (ex: Blade Throw+Ring of Blades).
- Triple Strikes
- A basic melee attack dealing high physical damage.
- Fanning Strike
- The Eternal Aegis shields itself with its swords, before striking out with all of them, dealing massive physical damage. This attack can be blocked.
- Blade Throw
- The Eternal Aegis brings its swords in the air and they start to glow. It then throws them across the arena before they all come back, indicated by traveling circular AoEs, dealing high physical damage on the way to and from.
- Ring of Blades
- The Eternal Aegis rapidly spins his blades around itself, indicated by a ring AoE that covers the area at a medium distance, dealing continuous very high physical damage. This can block party members' attacks. Stick close or very far to the boss to remain safe.
- Summon Lesser Aegis
- Throughout the fight, the Eternal Aegis will cast off pieces of itself to form Lesser Aegises. They have low health and can be cleaved quickly.
