Quest-Related Events[edit]
Go to the temple at the northwest part of town. There you'll find a distraught priestess. Approaching her:
- "Moons above! How will we get the relics now?"
If you have completed A Door Into Moonlight, she'll greet you with:
- "Bright Moons above! The Hallowed! Please, if you have a moment. Would you help poor Felari?"
Otherwise, she'll just say:
- "Traveler, Felari is very sorry to bother ... but could she beg your help?"
- What's wrong?
- "Felari has been working with a Wood Elf to bridge the divide between our peoples. Before the Dominion, you might know, the March saw much violence between Valenwood and Elsweyr. We've worked to return home the bones and relics of our ancestors."
- So what's wrong?
- "Word of our efforts spread to a group called the Dawnmead bandits. Scum, they peddle skooma and steal from villages in the south. They attacked Nethrin, and this one fears all our efforts will be for nothing. She hates to ask, but … will you help?"
- I'll do what I can.
You can then ask her more questions.
- "You are a bright moon in Felari's sky. Thank you. You can find Nethrin recovering in the tavern. He's beside himself with worry."
- Can you tell me more about this project?
- "Of course. What would you like to know."
- Aren't the Khajiit and Wood Elves allies?
- "A recent development. Felari thinks it's a good sign that you can see the world so. Things were not always this way. The Wood Elves of Valenwood and the Khajiit of Elsweyr fought often in the March. For land and for power."
- You said something about bones and relics?
- "We mostly find what we seek in mass graves, sad markers of ancient battlefields. Truth be told, most of what we uncover is worthless. But if it brings even small comfort, if it bridges the divide at all, it is worth it."
- Who is Nethrin?
- "A Greenspeaker of Valenwood, from the Grahtwood. He has proven himself a thoughtful and sensitive mer, a good partner in this cultural exchange. He has taken this setback very hard."
After you spoke to Nethruin:
- "Good luck to you, traveler. This one can feel the Bright Moons whisper to her. She feels you will succeed."
Back in Rawl'kha:
- "You have returned! Bright Moons be praised! Do you … do you have the relics?"
- I have them right here.
- "This one accepts these bones and relics as a generous gift to the Khajiit and Wood Elf people. Thank you. You have made all of this worth it."
- What will you do now?
- "When he is able, Nethrin and Felari will return to his home forest. We will return the bones of the Wood Elves, and the relics, and hopefully bring closure to these long-ago tales. From the past comes hope for the future, yes?"
- Glad I could help.
- "Go forth from this place with the blessings of the Bright Moons. We will always remember the honor you did the dead today."
If you exit out of the conversation before turning in the quest, she will alternatively say:
- "You have done the work of the Moons and the Green both, my new friend. Our people will remember you for this kindness."
- Glad I could help. (Leads to quest completion dialogue)
After the quest:
- "Felari shall keep you in her prayers to the Bright Moons, my friend."
