I found a note from a trapper near a snared wormmouth called Versidue. The note says if I return Versidue to Star-Gazer Sariyaah in Ontus, I'll be rewarded.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Find Marcien's Message in the West Weald
- Free the trapped wormmouth
- Deliver the guzzard to Star-Gazer Sariyaah
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Through your adventures in the West Weald, you might come across a note, with a snared animal nearby. This note can be found in the following locations:
- On the road south of Eaglerock Ruins (map)
- West of Singer's Outpost (map)
Read the note, to learn that the pet was trapped by a friend for Star-Gazer Sariyaah. Free Versidue from the trap. It will stay in your inventory. Following what the note says, make your way to Ontus where Star-Gazer Sariyaah has set up camp. Speak with her to deliver the beloved pet. She will give you your reward, and hint at two other animals that she hired Trapper Marcien for.

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
