Medium Armor is a skill in Elder Scrolls Online. It consists largely of leather, hide, and other low-weight armors. As with the other armor skills, there are only passive skills and a single active ability. These skills generally aid stamina-based characters.
Learning[edit]
The Medium Armor skill line is granted the first time you equip 3 pieces of Medium Armor. You can increase your skill by taking or blocking damage while wearing Medium Armor, or earning experience with the Evasion skill slotted. The more pieces you are wearing, the faster your skill will increase. Khajiits are naturally gifted with Medium Armor, and will learn the ability more quickly than other races. In addition, you can earn free levels in the skill line by reading Skill Books, which may be found randomly on bookshelves anywhere. The skill books which increase Medium Armor are:

Notes
- The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50 160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Elude | When you take area damage, you gain Major Expedition. Each piece of Medium Armor worn increases the duration of this ability. Duration: 16 seconds. Requires 5 pieces of medium armor equipped Shroud yourself in mist to gain Major Evasion, reducing damage taken from area attacks by 20% for (2 × Medium Armor #) seconds. While this effect is active, when you take damage from a direct area of effect attack you gain Major Expedition for (1 × Medium Armor #) seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%. Each piece of Medium Armor worn increases the duration of this ability. |
