- Learn the fate of the Lost Sailor.
Message in a Bottle is awarded for finding a certain message in a bottle washed up on the beaches of Summerset. These bottles can be found all along the coast in various locations. They may contain several other notes in addition to the one needed for this achievement, so just because you find a note in a bottle does not mean you will earn the achievement. You may also find other valuables such as crafting recipes, style motifs, or sometimes just illegible waterlogged notes. (These may be safely discarded as they have no value or other use.) Also found in these locations may be Giant Clams, which can be harvested for the rare Clam Gall or Powdered Mother of Pearl alchemy reagents.
