Thick Leather is a crafting material obtained from animals in any zone by characters with Rank 4 in the Tailoring passive or levels 36 to 44. One animal may yield one to two pieces of the raw material, Thick Leather Scraps. Once ten scraps are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Thick Leather. Refined thick leather is used for making medium full-leather armor at any of the clothing stations. For you to be able to create full-leather armor your Tailoring ability needs to be rank 4.
