65% -> 6%?[edit]

One of these numbers has to be wrong. It can't be that different between Simple and Intermediate. Can we get some confirmation of this? — TheRealLurlock (talk) 03:09, 12 April 2014 (GMT)

Oh yeah, that. They change. I've seen as low as 3% and as high as 72%. I think it may be random. Jeancey (talk) 03:19, 12 April 2014 (GMT)

Master?[edit]

I've never seen this lock type in-game. —Legoless (talk) 16:38, 2 May 2015 (GMT)

Two safeboxes with this lock type spawn in the Bank of Evermore, at the back wall.  ~Shuryard (talk) 16:44, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
Oh, interesting, wonder if it's only been in use since 1.6. This page still needs the default time/force chance values, although based on the above discussion I wonder if they might be level based or something. —Legoless (talk) 17:01, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
I've seen it multiple times. Maybe 30 or so. It's in the game, but since locks seem to be somewhat leveled, you only see them consistently if you are in zones that are pretty far above your level (I saw most of them right when the game was released, and I was running through all the zones with my level 3 characters recording NPCs and locations and stuff). But they have definitely existed since the game was released. Also, Impossible locks also appear. Jeancey (talk) 17:59, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
I've seen master locks before as well, but these safeboxes appeared in the bank after 1.6, obviously. I'm wondering if the lock difficulty and time/force parameters do depend on the zone and level. So, if somebody is up to comparing numbers: my char in the Evermore bank is lvl 30, Legerdemain is 2, so Locksmith passive isn't unlocked yet. Force lock chance is 0%, time to open is 12 seconds.  ~Shuryard (talk) 18:44, 2 May 2015 (GMT)
Times, from my pile of stuff:
  • Trivial: 60 seconds
  • Simple: 25 seconds
  • Intermediate: 20 seconds
  • Advanced: 15 seconds
