Alchemy description: Blocking absorbs <mag>% more damage for <dur> seconds.
Enchanting description: Block <mag>% more damage with your shield.

Fortify Block grants damage reduction while blocking.

The block cap is 85%, so past a certain point extra fortify block effects will not help. What that point is depends on the shield, your block skill, and the Shield Wall perk; see here for details of the formula.

• Aster Bloom Core^CC (1.25×,1.27×)
• Bleeding Crown
• Boar Tusk^DB
• Briar Heart (0.5×)
• Honeycomb (0.5×)
• Pearl
• Slaughterfish Scales
• Tundra Cotton

• All varieties of <item> of Blocking
  • Includes the enchantments of Minor Blocking, of Major Blocking, of Extreme Blocking, of Eminent Blocking, and of Peerless Blocking.
• Shield of Solitude

Artifacts and unique items that use the effect but cannot be disenchanted include:

• Amulet of Stendarr
