Bug - Make Olaf Defenseless[edit]
I managed to Level 3 Unrelenting Force Shout Olaf over the right side of the stairs (facing toward the stairs), and he landed behind one of the Wight's chairs. Upon getting back up, he seemed to become locked in a state of idleness. He ceased attacking me, but I was still able to attack him. This is a major bug in my opinion, and turns the boss into a joke. This was a complete accident on my part. I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out how to maybe get him back into the fight. --Zmedaris 19:52, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- Success! As I thought, using a Level 3 Unrelenting Force Shout on Olaf again shot him out from behind the chair, and once he got up began attacking me again. I had to do it a sort of angle, toward the stairs, so he bounced off of the stone and flew down into the lower level of the chamber. This is still a doable bug, though, even if it is fixable in a sense. --Zmedaris 19:54, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
draugr[edit]
That's for sure that his body become a draugr, but doesn't it mean that draugr has no soul(not talking about soul gem)? If draugrs have no soul, what's the point for dragon priests to achieve immortality? May be they are actually liches? I want to know what he said in hall of valor after you finish the quest? — Unsigned comment by Vvardfell (talk • contribs) at 01:09 on 1 August 2012
- I dont think Draugr and Dragon Priests are the same thing. Anyway he says "You freed Svaknir, a fool of a poet, but an honest enemy who has earned my respect. Sadly, he's now lost in the soul-snaring mist - defeat Alduin, and his doom avert - I hope to greet him in this Hall as a friend." — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 02:24, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

- Is Svankir always in the mist no matter the question is finished or not? If he is always there, that mean soul can go to Nirn by their own will in some situation like they can appear around their body, that also explain the problem of draugr. Their body just act like mummy in ancient Egypt, their body is for temporary use only. When something happen around their tomb, they can go back to their body to defend their master. If this is the case, it doesn't matter whether dragon priests are lichs or not, they just absorb theire defender's living energy to expand their active time. (Vvardfell 11:45, 3 August 2012 (UTC))
