Skyrim talk:Settlements
What source?[edit]
Of course we know riverwood and sky haven, but what is the source for the others?--Stranger 05:00, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- The names mostly come from preliminary maps (specifically, here and here), and are all subject to change once we get a more official map. The names aren't much more than placeholders at this point. --NepheleTalk 03:14, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
There is one more settlement named Japhet's Folly located on a small island in the far north-east.
it's only visitable during the quest "Rise in the East".

I've also saw that there is already a site http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Japhet%27s_Folly , only the link is missing at the settlement list --91.7.236.40 18:03, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Stonehills[edit]
Why isn't Stonehills listed on this page? It's a settlement with it's own map marker and should therefore be listed, no? I realize that the Stonehills page can be found by accessing Rockwallow Mine under the mines page, but Redbelly Mine/Shor's Stone are listed independent of one another so why not Rockwallow Mine/Stonehills?174.0.116.189 19:27, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yes. Also Sorli's house, which is in Stonehills, has an own entry in the list of Settlements, which is also wrong. The house itself is not a settlement in the game, it's not on the map.— Unsigned comment by 85.66.211.226 (talk) at 21:31 on 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Dengeir's House[edit]
I wonder why is Dengeir's House listed as settlement. It has not its own in-game marker, it is located directly in Falkreath and doesn´t serve any special purpose (that I know of) than place where Dengeir sleeps (and sometimes can be found but he also visits inn and walks in streets). --Luke the Hero 00:04, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- You are right, that one needs to be removed. Wolok gro-Barok 15:17, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Hearthfire Houses?[edit]
Should the Hearthfire added houses be listed here? They show up with the Towns symbol but aren't really towns. Thinking a subsection in the Towns list for them would make to most sense. Something like this User:Lord_Eydvar/Sandbox Lord Eydvar Talk | Contribs 19:21, 23 September 2012 (GMT)
High Hrothgar[edit]
Should this be listed as a town? Seems it would be more appropriate listed as a settlement. The description even says "small settlement".--draagyn (talk) 19:27, 26 February 2014 (GMT)
