Skyrim talk:Unmid Snow-Shod
Exiled[edit]
After completing the Reunification of Skyrim questline, I found Unmid seated at the large table in the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm. He says something about exile being humiliating, and killing scores of Empire soldiers before being forced to surrender. The only topic of conversation available with him was "What's the Ratway?" It appears he was exiled to the court of the new Jarl of Windhelm, along with others from Riften and Dawnstar. Xyzzy 16:35, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
Weird sleeper[edit]
I was trying to pickpocket at night when I saw him sleeping and when I was about to take something I noticed his eyes were open but he was in the sleep animation, it just kind of freaked me out. — Unsigned comment by 98.145.162.210 (talk) at 02:02 on 25 February 2013
Armor[edit]
I can't help but think that wearing Elven armor would scar him for life, and people would be asking if he is a Thalmor supporter. Just seeing the armor would remind them of the Thalmor. More to the point, if Unmid and his comrades killed some Thalmor soldiers and he took their armor and equipped it, wouldn't it leave people asking "What the hell is he thinking?" - Within the time period that this game is based, trophies were often taken, so I would think that it is entirely normal for him to wear it as a 'battle trophy'. The fact that it would be a battle trophy is the most likely explanation. Although there is the fact that his supposed 'girlfriend' is actually an elf. — Unsigned comment by AldmerProfessor (talk • contribs) at 21:35 on 24 May 2016
- I don't believe people are always going to associate elven armor with the Thalmor when they see it. In Oblivion, for example, plenty of bandits and other characters could be seen wearing it and none of them were obviously associated with the Thalmor. Even in Skyrim, many characters have elven weapons in their possession since a few of the leveled lists only go up to elven quality. Also, there are plenty of simple, unremarkable reasons for why he could be wearing the armor (personal preference, availability, quality, etc.). Based on all this, I don't really see anything noteworthy to add to the article about his armor. Forfeit (talk) 06:23, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Apparently nobody else in the Keep has a problem with him wearing the Elven armor. But at least he doesn't wear the helmet. DRAGON GUARD(TALK) 07:18, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
