Clibergus Celata

Clibergus Celata is an Imperial trader who can be found at The Laughing Goblin in Akamora. So far he's had little luck in the city. Not only do the Indoril nobles seem much less inclined to trade with him than the Hlaalu] were but he also had his ledger stolen, which gives cause to the Fighters Guild quest A Lifted Ledger. He is well-dressed in expensive pants with the shirt, shoes, belt and ring to match and carries 120 gold. Aside from his natural charm and ability to absorb fatigue from others, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Background: "I am %Name, an Imperial merchant looking to strike some business deals here in Akamora. So far, I've had little luck with these Indoril nobles. My proposals simply don't seem to interest them. I've heard enough of the Telvanni to know I shouldn't bother heading any further north, so I'll probably be making my way south to Narsis soon. I've had successful dealings with the Hlaalu in the past."
  • Clibergus's ledger:
    • "Yes, that's right. Someone must've stolen it. If I'd simply lost it, someone should've returned it to me by now. It has my name written all over it. I've recently been visiting the Indoril nobles in Akamora to make some business deals. Most of them aren't exactly fond of strangers if you ask me. Maybe you should ask them if they've seen something. Although they don't really like me, they're still honorable people, so I guess they'll help you out if you ask them nice?"
    • "Are you on skooma or something? I don't see anything that even looks like my financial ledger! Now get back to work."
    • "Wonderful! It doesn't look like there are any pages gone missing. Everything is still there. Nice work, %PCName! Where did you find it? You know what? I actually don't want to know. I have my financial ledger back and that's all that matters. I've already paid the Fighters Guild for the job so you'll have to get your reward back there. Thanks again, %PCName."
    • "Did you find my ledger yet?"
    • "Then I suggest you keep on looking."
    • "Thanks again for finding it, %PCName. Without it, my business would be ruined."
