Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Cassynderia Lys at Old Ebonheart's East Empire Company building about an ebony mine.
2. Either:
   • Pay 300,000 gold to Llandesa Romoran, next to Cassynderia.
   • Speak to Mette Black-Briar in her EEC office.
     1. Talk to Gudrunda in the Imperial Archaeological Society's basement in Old Ebonheart.
     2. Calibrate the Dwemer Ore Probe with Raw Gold, Raw Ebony, Raw Glass and Adamantium Ore
     3. Give the fully calibrated probe to Llandesa Romoran.
     4. Return in one week (your journal will update) and speak to Llandesa Romoran for an Adamantium Spear.
3. Talk to Cassynderia Lys.

Notes

• Raw Gold and Raw Ebony can be bought from Anjzhirra at Anjzhirra's Rare Goods in town.
• Adamantium Ore can be obtained from the Shubattu Mine in Aanthirin, in Kanasami south of Indal-ruhn, or through playing the Mournhold expansion.
• Raw Glass can be obtained from the Ilvi Mine, or stolen from the basement of Old Ebonheart's Mages Guild.
• To calibrate the probe, use it on yourself with one of the required ores in your inventory.

10		Cassynderia Lys at the East Empire Company in Old Ebonheart told me that she sold an ebony mine to the Redoran that was already depleted. Llandesa Romoran is demanding a full refund of three hundred thousand septims and refuses to leave the EEC until that happens. Mette Black-Briar upstairs normally handles mine affairs.
20		Mette Black-Briar told me her friend Gudrunda at the Old Ebonheart Imperial Archaeological Society may have found something that can detect ore.
30		Gudrunda claims to have found an ancient dwemer ore probe that emits a signal when veins of rare materials are nearby. Unfortunately the device isn't calibrated very well. It can be fixed if it's presented with adamantium ore, raw ebony, raw glass, and raw gold.
40		The device was calibrated with adamantium ore.
41		The device was calibrated with raw ebony ore.
42		The device was calibrated with raw glass.
43		The device was calibrated with gold ore.
50		The device is fully calibrated.
55		Gudrunda told me to give the device to Llandesa Romoran in the EEC Headquarters.
60		Llandesa Romoran took the device and promised to return after a week.
65		Llandesa Romoran should have returned to the Old Ebonheart EEC Headquarters by now.
70	Finishes quest	Llandesa Romoran returned wearing some expensive-looking armor. The mine they were sold was an adamantium mine, not an ebony mine. She thanked me for the help and gave me an adamantium weapon as a reward.
71	Finishes quest	Cassynderia Lys thanked me for solving the issue, but was upset at giving such a valuable mine to the Redoran.
72	Finishes quest	Cassynderia Lys was horrified that I killed Llandesa Romoran.
81		I paid Llandesa Romoran three hundred thousand septims for the mine.
82	Finishes quest	Cassynderia Lys was astonished I paid off the debt.
