Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Calsa Attius at The Mother Alessia in Old Ebonheart.
  2. Retrieve the Bakers Guild dues from Turunstrid Harrow-Hand, Emaroc Harquart, Gul-Ei and Murletta Jarontus.
  3. Return the dues to Calsa Attius for a quarter of what has been collected.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Calsa Attius can be found behind the counter of the Mother Alessia, and with somewhat faux outrage will note that other bakeries are behind on their dues to the Bakers Guild. She will invite you to collect them for you, promising you up to a quarter of what you collect. Calsa will name four bakers, and you can get the locations of these individuals by enquiring about them.

Murletta Jarontus can be found in Pinefist Foods, a shop in the southeast corner of the city. You will need either 45+ Speechcraft to get her to give you 250 gold, or 30 Mercantile to get 120. Emaroc Harquart's shop is opposite Murlettas. You'll need 65 Speechcraft to secure 500 gold, or 55 Mercantile for 290 gold.

Gul-Ei operates Gul-Ei's Pantry, in the city slums. He will agree to a payment of 100 gold with 60+ Speechcraft, or 60 gold with 50 Mercantile. He may request gloves, and will reward you with a further 120 gold if you can supply these. This is less profitable than it seems when it becomes apparent that Calsa will only sell hers for 100 gold (70 with 60 Mercantile). Turunstrid Harrow-Hand is hawking her wares on the city square. 55 Speechcraft gets you 70 gold, while 45 Mercantile gets you 30.

Return to Calsa once you have asked all four bakers for their dues (regardless of whether or not they agreed) to complete the quest - either by giving up or successfully returning all four dues. There is no reward for successfully collecting all four - Calsa, as you will have noticed, is far too cheap for that!
